This is my Jewel I have had him for 4 1/2 years. He has a growth on his left gill. I believe it's a cyst. He has been like this for a while and I have watched all the other fish closely. They all look ok
I would take him out but every time I get close he scatters. A 220 Gallon full of hiding places isn't easy to catch a small jewel. I would have to take everything out to get him. Sry some pics aren't clear.
Any ideas on how to get him out without causing an uproar in the tank. Sucks because he is one of my favorites. I use to feed him by hand every night, but he is not interested now.
