Hi
I have notice over the last few days that my one jewel in my 250Lt tank has light Red tint on its under side from the Mouth till its tail, Is this normal or is it Sick?

Then I have 2 small Jewels (1" more or less) in another tank (65Lt), both of them have bubble like "cap" over there eyes and it is starting to turn milky and they don't move very much but they do eat a little. All the other fish that are in the tank are fine, I tested the PH of the water and it is at 8 like all my other tanks, I don't have any other testing equipment so that is all I could test for. I put the 2 jewels in the tank on Sunday if that is any help and they were in another tank and there they were fine.

I hope you guys can help me before it is to late and I will try to post pics of the fish as soon as I can.

The red on the Jewel Cichlid sounds like normal coloration. Cloudy eyes=Do massive water changes until fixed.

IF the cloudy eyes don't get better and the jewel cichlid get a bloody red (it looks painful)and it is only from the head down on the belly, they start to scratch them selves on the sand and don't move around much and even the eating habits are getting worse.

Is there anything I can do to fix this or is there something in the tank that is causing it or what??

I really appreciate all the help you guys give
thank you.

It looks to be getting worse and I am doing 50% water changes every day.

I have done water changes for almost a week now and I still have cloudy "caps" over there eyes.
Is there any thing else I can do to speed up the proses to get rid of the "caps"?
Please can someone help me.
