My Juruense and Tigrinus Catfish

now my Tigrinus Catfish!
the first few pics is of when it was in the bag.
the last is my only tank shot of the Tig...it never seems to leave that area!

how do you tell the difference between the two species? there's a tig at my lfs that i want to get, but not sure if its a tig or a jur.

from what i see from my 3 catfish...the tig has a longer snout or the head looks like the shape of a shovelnose catfish and the juruense head is shorter and rounded...i can also see that my jurunese are darker than my tig also.
But if u want to know for sure about the tig at ur lfs, u should take a pic of it and post it for clarifications before you get it.
It has grown a bit and gain some weight and more aggressive.
