My Kampha is peeling!

I bought it for the original looks but now it is peeling. I hope it at least looks ok afterward!

I bought it in September at about 5 inches and it is now about 7 inches. Here is a before picture and a picture from today.

No, I didn't expect it, but, I guess that is the chance you take with flowerhorns. It is kind of like gambling.

It did not get beat up, it beats the crap out of most everything.

the upper fins seems to be slit jsut like my flowerhorn when it got in a fight

Beat up... lol... I doubt this fish will look anything like a JK cause it isn't a JK fellas. Hopefully it peels to a nice bright orange for ya...

yeah after i look back the body shape dont look like a JP but what is the reason for the peeling?

The reason for peeling is a parrot is mixed in that fish.
