Hey guys, I'm new here. I recently acquired 4 Kelberis last week, This morning one was eaten by Shortbody Paroon Shark. WTF?

I thought Paroon sharks dont eat other fishes especially those who are 3/4 of its size.
I'm also new to Cichla keeping
Will their colors turn gold like other kelberis? They were sold to me as Kelberi Bahia Gold. They are being fed with Carnivore pellets

X2, get some air stones going, your water temp up to 88F and get some salt in the tank asap!

Thanks for the replies everyone! Already put some salt and add air stones in the tank. Can I put some hot water in the tank? I dont have any heater available thanks..

Umm. You need a heater quick. You need to maintain a temp of 85° MINIMUM. Add 2tsp of aquariam salt for every gallon of water in the tank. Otherwise the ich will multiply. Eventually your kels will die
