My knife fish cant eat

I got a 2 or 3 inch bgk and he dosnt eat much. iv had him 5 days and when i put the bloodworms at night some times he finds some but he only eats like 3 of them and. Is this normal? Also when i feed them somtimes he seems distracted and it looks like hes eating stuff of of my bogwood. Is he going to be ok? Please help!!!!

my knife is very shy when it eats and ive had it for like 2 years so yes its fine. just keep an eye on it and feed after the lights are off.

BGKs are can be very shy at that small size. You're doing fine. Feed at night, lights out, let it get used to it's surroundings.
