My aba aba knifefish. Bit me twice already and second bite gave me 3 stitches from the Hospital.

Yep there is one 14"+ in there and a feisty one too. Will attack any newly introduce featherbacks.

awesome aba aba, do the knifefish not fight wirh eachother? i always hear about not puttin knifes in the same tank? dues to their electrical feilds scrambling or somthing?

That's a total BS. They did research on that already. Plus featherback knife are not related to nakedback knife. Featherback are more related to arowanas, aba aba, arapaiama, african butterfly and elephant nose as they are from Osteoglossiformes and are primitive fish. Nakedback knife are Gymnotiformes and are suborder from Ostariophysi which include Gonorynchiformes (beaked salmon fish)cypriniformes (carps and minnows), characiformes (tetras) and siluriformes (catfish) which are not primitive fish.

Yep they can bite really good. I have a skull from my friend's dead aba aba and I'll post it soon to show what the teeth are like.

No it doesn't bother other fish except cichlids and my own fingers.
