My large fish tank setup

new large fish tank and stock list please advise
hi guys my new fish tank is now here and in my garage and waiting to be setup in the next few weeks. the filters are here and the lighting is sorted. the tank itself is 72x24x30(LxDxH) 2 canister filters with total of 3500lph turn over and uv steriliser and 4 white t8 tubes is the setup. planning on having 1 corner with lots of flat rock creating plenty of caves, a huge piece of bogwood which i will hopefully be able to get pictures of soon and a black sand substrate, might get fancy and build a raised plant bed not too sure yet. my intended stock list is as follows and this is what i want opinions on please,

2x motoro or hystrix stingrays
3/4x pictus cat
4x red shoulder severum
6x red hook silver dollar
12x denisoni barb
2x large tinfoil barb
1x albino tiger oscar
1x spotted gar
4x geo's

im looking for views from people who may have kept a similar setup or worries on compatibility from anyone really, im thinking i need something else to roam around near the top, but the missus will not allow me to get an aro(its a shame i know)

DO NOT put tinfoils with rays. They bite the tail and edges of the disk non stop and it really stresses the ray. I sold my tinfoils for this reason. Now my motoro isn't showing any signs of stress.
 
just personal preference but I think silver dollars are the ugliest fish available. Make sure they're big enough because gars snap at anything shiny.
 
This is basicly the exact same thread you had in the general aquatic section, and people gave you these same responces. I'm confused...were you just hoping people would tell you differently here?

I still say ditch the rays due to the 6x2 footprint. Gars and cichlids typically don't mix well. And the sev's will most likely fight non stop.
 
ok so no gar or tinfoils not a problem, just feel something is missing??? any suggestions??? maybe something a little different? sorry if you dont like the repeated thread but im desperate for advice.
