usually when setting up new tanks its setup asap as i have my eye on some fish or have them reserved some where, but this times its different so im taking my time with it. its not a monster tank but as you can probably tell with some of the pics this tank is on the 3rd floor in the roof/office

first of all i had to find somewhere to put it
and i found this nice little wall

so the work started

first of all built a quick stand

the next bit i forgot to take pics as i was working due to wanting to get most the mess cleared up before my girlfriend got home lol

so here is the hole cut, stand and tank in place and the gaps in the studded wall filled

the next morning i nipped to homebase and got some supplies
i re papered the wall to cover the crappy edges i had left and fitted a small frame as i had nothing else to do lol, i have also sat the tank on an inch of polysterene

will give it all a cover of cement over the next few weeks then leave to dry for a mnth or 2 then crack out the g4 paint

I'm impressed!! :headbang2 This is an amazing background. I am wanting to do something similar. What kind of cement did you use?
