I shared the pics in the Photo Lounge as well but thought I'd post here as well so it can be discussed

I actually was not able to do the drip method as one of my best friends wife just had a baby boy tonight!!!!! So I've been at the hospital most of the night so I aclimated him old school but he seems to be doing great. Does not seem stressed and eating normally.

Here's the pics

The Tail is a little torn up, I assume thats from the shipping process but i'm not sure. That will get better though.

Well I would say the tail will heal :) Probably quickly too :)

I would not however blame shipping for the damage.. rather it would most likely be battles int he tank with mates before shipping :)

did he tell u it was gonna be shipped with a ripped up tail? seems kinda odd it was a shock to u afterwards.

either way awesome pickup and as long as its eating, he'll make a great speciman in no time. feed often and feed lots and he'll be a monster in no time. mine is finally taking full sized mini shrimp. no more tearing it up jus for him :)

That aro looks in a bad shape dude, hope he recovers soon.

Well he seems to be doing good in the tank. He seems calm and is not just darting all around. I just need to keep a close eye on him. I think he'll be fine.

No I wasn't told that he'd be torn up like that. Free fish so I can't really complain. and yeah he's eating. Some crickets as well as some pellets so.

I'll keep you guys updated and If I see anything wierd I'll ask around. Thanks for all your help and its SWEET to finally have an aro!!!!

It will be fine.....pristine water conditions "maybe" a small dash of salt and a temp boost but really.....it looks just fine and dandy and should heal very soon. Awesome looking Lei by the way, how big is the little bugger?
