My lesson learned.

So a few years ago, I purchased a big tank that was used to house a reef. The tank was ENORMOUS. It was my dream tank, and I finally got it. So I cleaned the thing up and set it up and checked for leaks and all. I filled it with water and decor and cycled the beast. What I left out was that I used CLR to clean a line of calcium off of the top. I guess I didnt rinse the tank good enough because my community of fish all ended up dying within 24 hours. My lesson learned is that you should never use CLR to clean a fish tank. If you DO use CLR, rinse rinse rinse! Its just better to use nothing at all or vinegar.

Forgot to add the fish that died because of my stupidity...

1 9" Pbass (Ocell)
2 12" Mono Pbass
3 7" regular pleco bought at LFS

bummer about the stock....but it should go without saying....rinse 5x until you think it is all gone then do it 10x more...
