my lil retic 1month update

Jus wanted to share a pic of my lil retic. i think she likes my lima catfish she's seems like she grew almost about an inch in her disc since i brought her home about a month ago. ill be removing the devider pretty soon. i need to move 1 of my gars that i dont want harming her then she'll be able to roam around all over the 150

everything in my sig for the 150gal setup. which is why she's separate. im pickin up another tank today actually, it'll be all her's. gotta set it up n cycle it first tho but she should be in it in about 2 weeks. then MAYBE back to the 150 later unless i buy a few more retics to see if they'll possibly breed in the new tank only having the rays in it. woot.

need to feed her some more before shes ready to go with the rest of the gang. She looks active though and that is a good sign.

yeah, i want her atleast 10" before she's swimming around in that 150. might keep her in the new tank for atleast a year so she's nice n fat. and yeah she's very active. she wont stop moving haha. i heard retics are very calm compared to other rays and dont move as much. but mine wont stop moving

damnit... i didnt notice that. or maybe i did but didn't know what it was exactly. im offering her food 2 times a day and a decent variety but she jus doesn't go all crazy for the food. jus kinda eats when she wants. if u have any tips on how to get her feeding more that'd be great.

oh and i jus set up that new tank. its just a temp tank so she can be alone, unharmed, and have space to swim til she's bigger. its a 4ft long, 16" wide, 18" high tank. and she'll be the only one in it. ill post pics later in a new thread

1 of my females(the one that has a broken tail) is a little skinny...her pelvic bones are showin a little ive only offered them live blkworms but am about to start offering cut up earthworms and some other foods..
