my lima is pouting?

my 8" lima has always been very active and aggresive but yesterday i got a clown knife that picked on my lima a little today, so now hes not moving at all unless he absolutely has to, like if another fish knocks against him, and not eating. he usually gorges himself everyday. i did notice him shedding, but i know thats normal. is he just pissed off?
oh i forgot his fins are all clenched up and not moving either.
 
I had a knife in with mine and eventually the knife was too aggressive, and the limas would not eat at all. I have since moved the knife fish and my limas are eating like champs again. IMO they are not a good fish to keep with limas. Limas go on hunger strikes very easily when spooked, and knife fish are aggressive as hell. I'd say put the knife in another tank. JMO. Good luck. Also limas shed more than the usual every other week when they are stressed they can shed every day or every other day.
 
We have two Lima's at 8 inches and 10inches with a 10inch Royal Clown Knife.they are all fine.my knife actually has trouble getting food so i feed him some at night.
 
hm my 14" knife gave my 3 limas hell. They are 1-11", 1-12", and 1-14", he'd attack any that came close to him including my tsn that is 15". Just seemed territorial, and I put him in another tank and all is harmonious now.
 
it seems that the knife just had to prove himself in his new surroundings because now hes fine. the lima started swimming around again when i turned off the lights, so i think things solved themselves. i find it odd your knife was aggresive all the time, my other knife was raised from 4" to 15" with zero aggresion towards any fish at all. but i guess it depends on the individual fish.
 
well it seems the lima was sick, and has died. in a matter of less than 24 hours he went from eating fine and acting normal to bloody fins, gills, and pinsize blood spots on his belly. ive only had him for a week. i really need to set up my quarantine tank, just being lazy.:(
