Not talking about prices -- just good heathly fish and decent selection--- #1 at the top of my list Beital's Exotic Aquariums (Pearl River NY) #2-- Absolutely Fish(Clifton NJ) #3-- Monster Aquarium Inc (Flushing NY) #4 well I now a lot more places but they all seem fuzzy at this stage of the game - I would like to hear everyones top 3 favorite places. If many MFK members reply we all may prosper and find some new places.

I like Gerber's Tropical Fish in Moraine, OH.

I also like Aquatics and Exotics in Cincinnati, OH. They have a 17,000 gallon shark tank with three 4-5' black tip reef sharks and a 4' giant grouper.

Great to know.. i live in NYC also and not a lot of good aquarium stores... i don't like to travel out of NYC to buy fish but sometime we all have to.. to see what's available.. i haven't stock any fish for my setup for over 2 yrs..

Aquatica for fresh and salt water, and nemo's reef for salt water are my favorite fish stores in Charlotte North Carolina.

I am into fresh water at this time. However I like both. Salt water tends to be a bit more expensive but is does not matter. Some places actually offer both Salt and Fresh. Just specify for which one. I am pretty excited to find a place that I did not go to yet. If you could mention your top 2 or 3 places you like and the city or state that would be great.

There is only one here. It's called The Ark. The owner is a cool guy. Their fish are usually in good shape. Only time the fish look beat is when they're donations.

Aquatic warehouse is our go to fish store here in san diego. They have a varied selection and the people are really nice and knowledgeable. Next would be d&k than pet zone. Pet zone sales online and has lots of great fish we just dont go there a lot because of the location.
