When i first got my little 2" p.bass he used to go after the blood worms when id feed him and the past 2 days and this morning he doesnt even look at them. hes housed with a couple of female guppies that he cant eat even if he tried. 2 cory cats and a comet. whats the next thing to do.

i might get flammed for this but ive herd garlic oil can encourage feeding but its only been 2 days i wouldnt worry yet fish can go a few days with out feeding maybe try some praws or muscels cut into chunks he could manage

mine are close to 4" and they recently stopped eating bloodworms. right now theyre taking chopped market shrimp like crazy!

i originally had two. one got sucked into the intake (stupid mistake on me) but ever since then seems like hes terrified haha. i guess i can wait a few more days to see if he'll want to eat. his tank mates shouldnt be a reason right?

Maybe you want to remove the distraction. Did you feed anything LIVE recently other than blackworm?

:headbang2 It is so much easier with prepared food.

PTSD.... if it's acting normal, appetite will kick in sooner or later.

Snookn21(sp) on here said they eat worms. brine shrimp. and feeders. but the only thing closest to live hes been near since i had him was these guppies. but ill take them out and throw em in my pond. the corys and goldfish should be alright? theyre just really used to clean up the blood worms that i figured he'd be eating

ya id ditch the guppies before he gets the munchies my buddie just lost his orino for that same reason he didn't think he would try to eat them and he choked on one and died so do let size fool ya
