Dont think you could have gotten worse pictures. If I had to say, one of them looks like a red dragon. Really cant tell though. Try to get better pictures.

Trying to catch the shape of fish.

Use a mirror to get them preoccupied. Turn on the lights. Stand next to your tank with the camera, point your camera in a slight downward angle and shoot.


Still looks female to me.

I wouldn't want to guess using those pics I'm afraid. Borrow a proper camera and you'll get such a better shot of it. It won't matter so much if it's moving because the exposure time will be so much shorter, compared to a phone cam.
