sweet ur from WI too! i just got mine last saturday...his eggsack is still hanging but its gettin smaller as the days go by...check out my thread...ill bump it to the top in a bit...

Congrate!!
Btw, keep the silver by itself till it's 6 inches before going into a bigger tank. For now, keep the water level low and not too much disturbence in the water.:)

thanks its currently with my 4 baby monos and 1 cichlid pike (dont know which kind) they are all active and seems to leave each other alone. The arowana yesterday night started a fight with one of the bigger peacock and bited it LOL. He/she got some personality already. But i will be moving them into a 200g+ in the future.

:)

It's risky like I said...

cute little guy so what do you feed him and the baby pbass?

nice fish, but personally i would keep him alone, all those other fish are putting a lot of stress on him and aros are pretty fragile at that size.

im trying to get the monos to take shrimp, krill, and pellets but they wont eat them yet! i had some white clouds in the tank while it was cycling and i quess the monos went after them. all 20 of them...GONE....
i know im risking a lot putting the arowana with the monos but it doesnt seem like its not afraid of them and not stressed at all. The arowana will actually swim around with the monos like they were in a group and their arent any more fights between them. But if i do see some signs of aggression i will be moving the arowana into my 20G long which in still in the process of cycling. :) thanks all
