Were did you get them from and how long did it take to breed them I was also looking for live food

I had my 4 - 5 inch jd breed like a couple of times with my 1inch pink convict

I picked the femAle up from my lfs on sale for a buck. Very colorfull, under an inch. I have had my short body me for a few months he's Bout 3 or so inches. It took about 2 weeks for eggs but I think it's because the femAle was to small.

whats the growth rate like on these convicts? i've had some breed but never successfully grew them out as the parents ended up eating them

They grow pretty quick. Once they start to swim pretty good alone I take the fry out

I had a bunch of convicts in a 75 gallon tank and I just left them for a few months and the population tripled in like 7 weeks with 9 pairs of full grown convicts.
