Sorry for your loss:( I know it sucks to lose a prized fish.

wEAK DUDE! sORRY TO HEAR IT. cAPS LOCK STILL ON FROM LAST POST. lAME!

That it does, He definitely was my prized fish. He was 2" when I got him and 7 1/2" when he died. Still have no idea why he died... I saw him swimming around awkwardly kind of like he was losing control but I thought he was tough and he was just acting weird I leave to go grab some food and come back and he's belly up still breathing. I tried to revive him but it was too late. Just goes to show when you sense something is wrong take action immediately and do not go grab some food. If I had done so he would probably still be alive. That is unless he did not have an internal parasite. He was an awesome fish with the best personality. We definitely had a bond together. He will be missed. My 2 catfish seem to be very happy now that they don't have to fear from being eaten. Just wondering could feeding too much freeze dried krill to my LMB be a cause of death?

Honestly, I am not expert. But there must be a certain reason why this happened. Did you notice anything wrong with him exterior wise? Like did he look like he had a parasite growing on him or any type of visible problem?

Did you check the water parameters?

Other than that I am not really sure what could have happened.... But its times like these that I am really considering getting myself a UV sterilizer. I dont want to take any chances with my boy dying on me.

I am truly sorry to hear of your lost. Losing my LMB is probably one of my biggest fears. I love him so much and he knows I do!
