Had this fellow for nearly 20months or so now. Grown loads too. My big baby :) One of the best fish ive ever kept. I dont post pix of him very often so enjoy and comment.

i have one. he is a pain tho. u have tankmates ? my guys destroys any thing i put him with. n he goes on hunger strikes.

He has eaten a few rainbows but hes also got a couple of plecos in there ehs been raised with some tankmates so seems to tolerate them to a degree.

Do you think £65 is a good price for a African Lung Fish ? And what size tank would you say is best for a fully grown one ? i would guess the one at my LFS that i am want is about a foot maybe a little bigger . :)

To be honest ive seen them cheaper but the price has gone up on anything these days and id happily pay that myself. At the moment hes in a 32x24x16" tank and i dont plan on upgrading for a while. Hes had many different tanks and he was in a 6x2x2 for a few months but remained largly inactive and he just wasnt himself. Where as hes always been rather active and happy in smaller more enclosed conditions. But i would like him a bigger tank again
