My M. Circumcinctus (half-banded spiny eel)

How is your eel doing now? Do you have any updated pictures? I enjoyed reading through your posts-I had an eel that recently passed (I cannot for the life of me figure out why) and I think he was a half-banded. He was labeled as a peacock at the store but his personality sounds exactly like yours... he was awesome and I am so sad that he died! Anyways, have you read or heard anything about them getting sick suddenly? One day I noticed mine wasn't eating which was unusual for him and then later that night he started shaking weirdly and what looked like having a seizure. I changed the water but the next morning he was gone
