My male Dovii

Hello, just wanted to share a pic of my male dovii, got him last March at about 1 inch with about 6 other dovii juveniles, he was the nicest and biggest of the bunch, the goal was to have one nice showpiece male dovii, he’s about 10 inches now and quite chunky, eating only pellets. Still abit shy but hoping he grows out of it, currently living a 180 gallon tank alone.

Just an update, he’s about 13 inches now and getting quite thick, getting much more confident also not hiding as much as before

Just an update, about 14 inches and very thick , very active and not afraid of me anymore

Good looking Dovii, I lost mine as I forgot there was a bristlenose in there and he choked on it. I was looking for another and around Edmonton for the longest time there was a guy breeding them. Now apparently hard to find
