Make a partition for few days boss... then after the injury get healed again remove the partition if they are not fighting, there wont be any prob if they are fighting again thn again sperate with partition ...

First things first, If you just throw two flower horn together in the same tank 95% of the time they will fight and not pair up. The reason she kicked his butt is because she has what I call "home field advantage" and he was the new guy on the street. The fish that has been in the tank will always beat up the new fish. You need to introduce them slowly with a divider so that they can see each other and interact with each other just not touch each other. The second problem you have is that if your male is only 8cm which is roughly 3.5 inches, he is way to young to be attempting to breed him. I recommend letting him get to at least 5-6 inches before trying to breed them. If your male has torn up fins from his unfortunate encounter you need to add API Fresh Water Aquarium Salt to help him heal up and not get an infection. Keep us updated with your progress.

Didnt you just get the fh? You have to be a good fish keeper before you even think about breeding.
