Before feeding shoot. Long time didnt update them already. All been kept with white FL 24/7. Pardon me on the green algae you see on the picture.:irked:

I'm feeding them cut up shrimps with shell on. And occasionally pellets as well.

so basicaly they only keep the floral pattern when they are young, Its hardly visible now

Not really. Some of the reds have this because at the point of time when they are developing colouration on them but some owners didnt take proper care of the water or not having enough light exposure for the fish they may also develop in such behaviour. but once it was been placed in the correct condition, it will "recover" and develop further.

Some do have this pattern on them permanently which are inborn though.:)
