My Mantis...

He hates visitors, and cameras. He had a tank buddy for a few weeks, but then he killed him recently (a Damsel).

Took a few quick shots while he was doing some house keeping. Which explains all the debris floating around.

My brother picked him up at Whities for about $30 bucks. The feedings are brutal. Especially because I feed him crays.

Surprisingly it was more difficult than I thought it would be. He, hates the camera so every time I approach the tank with a camera he goes back into his home. So I had to take pictures of him with my lens fully extended at 200mm. I was about 4ft away.

I tried a few shots but then it was too difficult to capture all the details, then I used my speedlite, then everthing was crisp.
