Is there a lot of aggression? You seem like you are able to mix africans and americans pretty well.
Aggression is quite low. There has been a couple of times over the last few years where the odd fish would try to carve out a new position where things got steamy but all calmed down. The Pike cichlid was almost on the chopping block once but I'm happy I didn't sell him.
In my description, you'll see I removed a couple fish over time but it was more because I wanted something different.
Its the right mix of Africans. If I add anymore then I see potential problems. The Balance is good so I'll keep it that way.

Your pike looks great. I was really hoping for a female just like yours. I ended up with a male but, he is growing on me.
