this is my 280 gallon peacock bass (not sure what type) and motoro stingray!!!

i just pulled all the rocks out the tank and it is now a glass bottom tank. i like it... for now. lol

let me know what u guys think!!!! thanks for looking!

thats what most lfs will say, salt is usually never necessary unless you are trying to get rid of ich or somthing.
yea im sure ur right, just seemed like a good idea when i did it lol
I'd ditch the salt, but other than that seems like it's set up to be a nice monster tank someday.

I'd suggest putting some driftwood in..
i would like to but i cant seem to get enough information on what drift wood i can use in the tank so i just never did it.
 
a nice substrate, background, some driftwood and your tank would be good to know! nice cichla & motoro, planning on adding anything else?

was just now looking on the net for a 3D background, i cant find one that will fit my dimensions. i would like some driftwood but as i said idk what type of driftwood i could use. i live in south louisiana so i can pick driftwood out of local bayous, rivers, and creeks. but i was told to use a certain type of driftwood or it will cloud up my tank.

i would like to add another motoro stingray and that will be pretty much it. i dont wanna crowd the tank for when the cichla get bigger
