Heres some pics of the MEXITANK. (thanks for the name Edcal). Its the start of my cichlids native to Mexico collection. The tank is my old 100g that I had given to my brother, but got back due to his pending move to Austin. The filtration is currently 1 emperor 400 and 1 whisper 30/60. So if I did the math correctly that means that the tank is turning over 7X an hr. I can live with that for now. Plus Im running a nice big UV sterilizer/clarifier fpr a little added security. The fish are # thoricthys maculipinnis, 2 ex.c. beani, and 3 H. carpintis, all from senior Jeff Rapps. All the Mexis are from 3-4''. There is also a pair of Tapajos Oheads, soon to go to a friend, and a school of 20 or so black neons, which are being herded and picked off slowly by the little beanis. There were a handful of redeye tetras in there as well but now there are only 3 left.Heres some pics of the tank and the little Mexis....
