Amazing collection

I love piebald Midas, they might not look that good in pix but to see one in person is amazing. How big is that piebald now? Too bad it's not a female, could use a nice piebald female for my guy in my avatar.

Actually lots more ,missing more of the complex then I have.

The piebald is about 12-13" - guesstimated

BTW let me know if you stumble upon a piebald female. Hate to ruin my guys perfect fins but would like to breed him. Both his parents were stripe Midas and all his other siblings were striped too.

Looking for one myself

I spawned my male pied with the wild barred I posted to see what happens.
Maybe some of the fry will turn out pied.

If not I have a grow out female from my bighead male posted above and this female

that I'll probably try spawning with the pied next and see what I get.

If that doesn't work, Ive got a barred granddaughter of this pair

maybe the pied genes are still there.
(the pied was a female,the little male is my bighead male -younger)

Nice size on that piebald




<<<<<<mines is around 10" now. Reason I wanted to maybe breed him in the future is he might be special because both his parents and siblings are barred but he turned out differently. Luckily I still have a few offsprings from him before I seperated him from his mate, she was starting to go after his fins as their fry were getting bigger.
