I'm worried that my midas will only eat cichlid gold max sinking pellets i've tried freeze-dried shrimp/krill, raw shrimp, tipila , bloodworms, beef hearts, he won't eat none of it.

Can someone tell me is his pellets only, a good diet or does he need something else?

Yeah, it's fine especially if he'll eat other pellets. More variety is better it's good to keep trying but not like, "OMG He's going to die if you don't get him eating something else within the next 3 days and 16 hours!"

Just try feeding him other stuff when you feel like it, don't stress.

Of all the foods for him to exclusively eat, pellets is a good one. I wouldn't worry about it. Maybe get another type of pellet as well to get him some diversity. But yeah, should be fine

Try to get him on New life Spectrum or Omega one, whichever is locally available to you. Even Hikari Bio-Gold is a step up from regular Hikari Cichlid Gold.

Try mussel and blood worm cubes... Could try live bugs too, boxes of crickets and locust make a nice treat.
I've kept many Midas and they often just prefer pellets tbh, nothing like and Oscar or Texas who will eat your hand for any scrap of food.
As others said he will be fine, hikari gold is my staple and my fish all do great on it tbh.
Like I say I bet he will take bugs and bloodworm, mussel is worth a try, good luck.

I have tried mussels also he won't eat from the top so bugs won't work it has to be a sinking pellet i will buy some shrimp and veggie sinking pellets and mix with his regular pellets i want to try NLS but dont know if they have a sinking pellet

They do.

That's the best case scenario IMO. Pellet food offers the most nutrition, with the least water pollution. Plus, you can control ALL of it.
