My Midas Spawning!

I picked up a pair of Midas's about a week ago and they've begun breeding for me already! I bought them from a member of another forum and they bred for him every two weeks! The female is about 7" and the male is about 10", they have so much personality.... they come right up to the tank when I come in the room. Awesome fish!

Very VERY nice! They must be in their peak of sexual maturity. How big of a tank are they in? Any means of controlling aggression?

May i suggest that u get a sturdy divider with a love door and set a small portion of the tank up just for the lady midas.The males tend to try and force the ladies to lay eggs befor they are ready she will need a retreat from the male at some point.lol

yes get a divider.......if they start to fight.In other words keep one in handly.Those are some very nice midas.How much did u pay for those beauties.Seriously i cant express how beautifull they are
