My Midas.

Took some pictures today after a water change of
Mr. Midasjeezy, he's been alone for a while now.

Nice barred midas...He looks pretty darn angry..lol

by far the meanest fish i ever had,
now he's the only fish i have? lol.
can't walk by his tank to go to the laundry room without him going nuts on the glass.
cleaning routines have changed, i don't put my hands in the tank anymore unless
i net him into his pot lol

but there is one cool thing though, he lets me rub his head once in a while =)

Nice !! I put some Apollo sharks with mine when he was in similar setup . he chased them but never caught them then just accepted them , Found he was less aggressive to me then

yes he is, nothing wrong with that.
last year i had 2 setups.
i kept dovii, umbee, pearsei, argenteas, synspilum, barred midas, oscar, jack dempsey, hartwegi, and a pretty sick hybrid(festae x carpinte)
this year, at my new place, just a single barred midas, before it was 2 barred midas.
