My Mini MFK Room

Well I need to fix up my MINI fish room. I say mini because it's also the washer/dryer room. I need to make stands for my tanks. Right now I have the 55 on the ground and the smaller tanks on this huge desk. The desk is just a waste of space, so I'm going to make stands for all of the tanks. Here's a pic showing the setup now.

I will be posting the stands and whatnot on this thread. I will be building(when I say I will be building......I mean I will tell my dad to cut the wood and I will be supervising ) the stand for the 125, 55 and the 29 and smaller tanks.

Will also somehow clean up this mess.

Just a few random shots for fun.

The Magnum 330 canister, plus the Diatom filter I got with the 55.

Like the nice VARIETY of foods I got, not to mention tons of frozen stuff.

We will be starting the cutting of the wood for the 29 and smaller tanks tommorow.

Hows the temperature swing when the dryers running? I know some of my old laundry rooms would get incredibly hot.

It will definitely be a lot les cramped once you get all those tanks on double stands.

Actually, I don't think there is much of a swing really. There are three doors to the room, one is closed behind the dryer and tanks, one is the door to the outside(which isn't insulated or something, you can feel the cold air standing next to it), then the other is like a walkway doorway, so it's pretty ventilated.

It will definitely be a lot les cramped once you get all those tanks on double stands.

I just got my 125 yesterday. I bought it at petsmart.

This thing freaking rocks, It looked so small at Petsmart, but in the house it looks huge!! lol

Another pic in the test run stage to see if it is leaking. So far so good as of now.

Me and my dad are making the stands thursday. The 125 will go on top and will be putting the 55 underneath to save room for more tanks. I can't wait to get this tank up and running.

Lots of extensions cords, in a hot room, maybe a fire hazard

It's not hot at all actually. It barely reaches 70 in there with the heat on and everything running. That is on my to do list though of things to fix. I would like to put them behind things or hang them on the walls with a drip loop. Color code each plug to coordinate with a tank so I can just unplug filters and heaters much easier.

What does everyone do with all of their cords and what not?

You can get clips to hold the cords together...or tape them down to the wall or floor t prevent tripping on them and what not, and O I have that same stereo thats featured in your "mess"
