My mini Monsters - Bruce and Helga

[Deaths Sting]

i finally got my gulper catfish, 1 6'' male (Bruce) and 1 4'' female (Helga).

during the car ride home Bruce threw up in the bag. then Helga ate it! then she threw it up!

when i let them out of the bag, Bruce went straight for the regurgitated shrimp.. it stayed down..i think

anyways, heres some pics of them in the bag. stayed tuned, more pics to come!!

Thats a whole new level of sharing a meal. Gross, but I guess why let it go to waste... Catfish are so weird. Just got to love the bottomless pits.

I've heard of gulpers eating each other before. Any concerns about keeping those two together?

they act like monsters thats for sure!

the guy i got them from was keeping 6 different sized gulpers all together in a 33 gallon tank for about 4 months. their all very much alive.. i highly doubt any problems when it comes to cannibalism..

yah, sorry it took so long. i had to search around for everything

they were $100 each but my buddy said if i want more he will give them to me for $50 each.

ya at least you got all the boring stuff done BEFORE you got the fish lol sometimes i have to remind myself of that
