My Minnows are changing color. What happened?

Ther're getting paler and the males are losing their black bands, but otherwise theyre fine.

Sounds like stress. Might check your water quality make sure you arent getting an ammonia spike or something of that nature.

waters a little cloudy i guess ill do a 50% water change. maybe has something to do with the Mosquitofish tank being visible to them? It's 3 inches away, maybe the Mosquitofish are showing "Thru the glass" aggression...?

Many cyprinids have only slight color at spawn...what kind of fish do you have?
