Here are some pics of my 75 gallon SA/CA mixed tank. Substrated is commercial sand from homedepot, some driftwood, a bunch of fake plants. Filtration is a canister filter(not sure what brand) also a DIY background that will be removed once fish have grown. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think.

Current Stocking is:
1x 3in Firemouth
2x Geo Steinys (1 male 3.5inches, 1 unsexed 2.5 inches)
1x 2in Convict
7x black skirt tetras
1x 4.5in Senegal Bichir
1x 2in Spotted raphael
and 1x 4.5in Rainbow shark

I like it. So different than my 75 gallon cichlid growout, but very natural looking (unlike mine) and quite pleasing to the eye in my opinion.

Also, do I see some severums in there?

Thanks i tried to make it as natural as possible. Hopefully getting some powerheads soon to create a small river/stream current. I moved the smaller geo, catfish, bichir and tetras from a 20 gallon. but yeah their severums but were just temperary while my friend treated his ich. I no longer have them

Really like the aquascaping. Stock may not work long-term though, so keep an eye on everybody.

Thank you. So far everyone is getting along, Other then the firemouth and male geo doing a little chasing here and there, everyone seems to be doing great. I will definately keep an eye out, thanks for looking out though

would you change up the stock? and what are some good sinking pelets

I'm personally not a huge fan of Geos, so I'd get rid of them, and also 86 the rainbow shark. I'd throw in a male Sajica in their stead.

I use NLS sinking pellets. For fish in the 2"-3" range, 1 mm will probably work best. May want to start them off on the thera +A for the slightly higher protein, fat, and garlic content.

Okay, ill check those out. Is there something maybe a little more colorful that could work?

There are plenty of colorful fish, that stay at reasonable sizes. A female Salvini would be a nice touch, though they can get a bit aggressive (not that Cons or Meeki can't), Centrarcus have nice coloration, and female Nicaraguensis as well.

Hmm, i like the female salvini but i havent seen one anywhere. Anything thats not to hard to find but gets colorful?
