That's pretty sweet! Nice look!

Thanks guys. I started with 100lbs of brown pool filter sand then topped it with 20lbs of black tahiti moon sand from PetSmart.

The driftwood I found along the river, soaked and scrubbed it, then bought some large cobblestones from a local landscaping place and used masonary drill bits to drill a hole in the stones and then used stainless steel screw to anchor to the wood.

After the wood settled on the bottom I stuck some smaller random stones gently under the anchor stones that weren't touching bottom to give it the effect it was resting on a bed of rocks.

I'll get some better pics after dark so my waiting room isn't reflected in the glass...

oh crap!! I didn't even see your location. I'm in CR. Yes I got them at Pet's Playhouse. It took him a couple months to get them in when I started pestering him in November of last year to get me some. He stocks them regularly now but seems to have a hard time getting anything exotic.

Yeah, I picked up a couple monos from him last month. I know what you mean though. I usually run down to Coralville Bay. They get a bit different stock down there. The only gripe I have about Pet's Playhouse is that they aren't all that knowledgeable about many of the fish, at least not the ones that I want. I asked about Motaguenses, and they just looked at me like, "what kind of animal is that?"

more pics of the new tank...
