Haha..ok so to me 55 gal is a monster tank. This is the 55 gal I picked up yesterday. I also adopted a MONSTER Koi Angelfish. Look how big she is compared to mine!! Had great help from members of this forum in making this transition smooth and successful. I decided to keep the gravel with the tank for now. Anywhoo, it abour wore me out putting it together, moving fish and getting everybody settled in. But it's DONE!! It's a little 'naked' but it's good enough for now..lol Thanks again everyone!

nice set up, i think my only input would be maybe calm the bubbles down a bit (don't get me wrong I love bubbles) as it looks a bit excessive. but love the fishys! :)

very nice, congrats

Thanks! I have always had 10 gals and then recently a 29..now this 55!! I'm obsessed!! But enjoying every minute and penny lost!!

I love Angels. Do you still have yours? Beautiful!!

The one I was given is so sweet. She was kept wtih a tank full of Tropheus Dobis Cichlids..her fins are shredded. But she was not hurt, just looks scruffy  But she'll be able to grow her 'hair' back in my tank. She's the biggest out of everyone:D

This pic was taken w/my phone. I personally like the bubbles. it's a 48inch flexible bubblewand. I'll post a pic with my camera later. Maybe the quality of the pic makes it look gawdy..lol

soon that 55 will look tiny and the you will want larger. and it will carry on from there lol.
nice set up. bubble walls look pretty good and easily hidden too. the bubbles do look fierce but i think it may just be the pic.

nice bubble wall, i wonder if it's possible to install that on sand, hmm..

Oh I'm sure!! It's a flexiable wand I just layed it on top of the gravel, you can bend it into difference shapes like an 'S' or a wave but I like the back wall full of bubbles, my background is just plain black. The wand is only like $15 at Petsmart :)

Ok, I turned down the airflow from the pump to slow down the bubbles. I see what you mean now. It was a little much. Now it's just right. Thanks for the feedback. I'll post a pic later tonight with my camera.
