My MONSTER Archocentrus spilurum

I just picked him up yesterday from the lfs I work at. Someone brought him in because he was getting beat up by his other cichlids. This is the biggest Archocentrus spilurum I've ever seen. Hes about 6 1/2 inches. Has a little fin damage but hes recovering.

Don't see them very often, nice to see monster males popping up

Good looking fish. Great find you definately dont see them everyday. I'd like to see him once he all settled in.

It's probably refreshing to work at an LFS and actually have something cool be brought in, instead of the usual jack dempsey with torn up fins or the oscar who has outgrown its 30 gallon tank.

Yeah it sure is. You wouldn't believe how many oscars jds ect that people bring in because petco said it wouldnt outgrow there 29 gallon or eat there other fish
