My monster Betta!

Today was payday which equals fishday so I kind of went on a spree... I bought this guy while I was out: an elephant-ear plakat betta. Already he's just about my favorite fish he's got so much moxy. Interesting finage, theres always room for a betta tank.
 
bettas are so monsters..tiny little angry packages, if they were the size of an Oscar everyone on this site would love them...But so many are stuck on the "monsters" are BIG.

Betta's are such cool fish with attitudes. I remember mine use to keep me entertained. I had it in a 20 gallon planted tank with black sand. He loved the anubias in the tank. Had a favorite spot on top and under a certain leaf of the same anubias plant where he would go to rest.

Your betta looks nice. I could see where it got the elephant ear from.
 
Got him for $15 at petco. If there's something that petco does well it's getting some nice bettas
