how many hours a day do you tan? and for how long?

do you find that the other fish get brighter/more colorful as well?

Milk - those lights are NAN lighting and can be eiher in or out of the tank...

Those 2 tubes you see are NAN Brand Underwater Lights.
I retrofitted the internal tubes to 4feet D3 FL Tubes for tanning of the Aro.
The lights are on auto timer to be ON between 6am and 12mn so full tanning hours is 18hrs. The lights are inside the tank.
