Very cool. How long have you had hi? Hows his temperment? I have one thats like 5-6" and it tries to fight my 10" zonatus. I have another thats 4-5" and very laid back.

I have a few in both of my big tanks.


I bought 12 syns from SimonL in 2006 at his store's boxing day sale (He was the livestock manager at Big Al's then). Now he is at Aquatic Kingdom in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. They were only 2" long and cost $1.33 each. The female is one of the 2" I got then. Now she is between 8 and 9 inches. The biggest 2 males reached 14" total length.


Here is she is: my favourite female Paraneetroplus (Vieja) synspila (synspilus, synspilum). All the now adults in the big tank came from her spawn.
