Hi Guys,

Just thought I'd share my current community tank full of mostly Australian Natives. Possibly overstocked, but everyone seems happy (thoughts?)

Stock:
2x Purple Spot Gudgeon (Breeding)
2x Emperor Gudgeon
1x Bristlenose Plec
1x Rainbow (unfortunately lost a few to ich, will be getting more)
2x Hoplo Cats
1x Corydora (lost others to ich as well)
1x Lionhead Cichlid
2x Mystery Snails (Breeding)

Any suggestions thoughts are welcome :)

Wow, yes that's the one. It was sold to me as a lionhead and I guess I never really second guessed it (although I had never seen one before). Cheers for that knowledge, now I know a bit more about him :)

i have a group of 6..just a little info on them they do much better in groups they are highly social little fish that do best in larger groups. every day when i turn the lights on my group come out and "puppy pile" on to each other..rubbing and connecting...they are amazing over looked fish.

they love fast flowing water as well!

awesome tank btw...i narrowly missed getting some of those gudgeon last summer cant wait to get the opportunity to get them again!

Thanks for the advice. I would love to get more, unfortunately I cannot find them anywhere (I'm in Australia). That was the only time I have ever seen them in an LFS and I bought it straight away. That was the only one they had as well. Hopefully they'll pop up again soon.

and thanks :), love Gudgeons. They are pretty common down here, but great fish either way.

Pretty good community fish, the tank looks just fine and spacious enough for all of them.
