My mounted Lake Trout

Nice. But don't lake trout look like this?

Who knows, I've never caught one, but to me that has rainbow written all over it? The color, the dorsal and anal fins, and the caudal fin.

yea, i was just gonna say, that looks like a rainbow,............ but i'm not a trout expert

Just caught in my lake

Ah, well. That's the problem with using common names then isn't it? As the fish under the common name "lake trout" is not a "rainbow trout".
