ignoring the sponge,
stocking is 13 eastern mosquitofish (gambusia holbrooki), and 1 longear sunfish (lepomis megalotis)
plants aren't really native but most of the stuff in the middle i got from my local lake.
I bought water wisteria, amazon swords, java fern for the tank, I had a small sprig of hornwort and some crypt. crispatula in there, i got some duckweed from a friend, and of course there's the pothos. I brought anacharis and some other little unidentified plants from the lake, which are all growing very nicely.
that picture is the most recent, after about a week of planting the tank, and the anacharis has doubled in size. the swords and wisteria are also growing new leaves which i am happy about. the wisteria i bought was that petsmart tissue culture stuff, its roots were melting which i did not notice and its leaves are in its emersed form, but it's starting to grow some submerged form leaves which i am happy about.
