I am new to this forum. I finally setup my Cichlid tank. It took me forever to pull the trigger on doing it. I setup it up on Sept 16th and had it cycled in less than 3 weeks. My 1st batch of Cichlids was 6 Yellow Labs and 6 Demasoni. Not sure on sex. Real small. I lost 1 Demasoni the next morning. He did not look good at all the day I put him in. All is good now and the little punks are swimming like crazy. I also have 8 Danios which will become food sooner or later. Here are some pics of my tank. In 2 weeks I am going to add 3 Clown Loaches (my favorite). After that I think (not decided) on adding some Fronts of some type if I can find some that are small.

Very nice looking tank. Makes me wish I still had mine up (torn down temporarily due to a move, and moving again soon so haven't set up again yet).

One thing I will mention is that I would not do frontosa. They are beautiful fish, but part of their beauty is their long, delicate, flowing fins that will almost certainly get nipped at by the mbuna that you have. Also, I would think about adding some more demasoni. Many say that you should start with about 15, expecting to lose a couple due to aggression (but hopefully not). Supposedly groups less than about 8 become overly aggressive for whatever reason and can wipe out a tank. Not to scare you, but wanted to let you know. Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
