hi my friends. i will buy the new Aimara from my friend. Its size is 14 inches. i have already prepared my tank 48"x20"x20" for it. This fish is the biggest of Aimara in Thailand that i know. Because the wolf fish is not poppular in Thailand compared with Arowana or Simese Tiger fish. I know that the apperance of Aimara is varied depend on the site of river. Do u think which the river did it come from? Orinoco River, Amapa River or anywhere? Thank you

I cant answer your questions but that's a pretty awesome looking fish. I love the eyes!
Good Luck with it!

Break it down and do not just agree. Help everyone learn how to tell the difference.

What makes it probably more likely to be from VZ. Care to explain anyone?

Great looking Aimara!

It has to do with the pattern along the sides of the body. I am fairly sure that the Amapa have three to four distinct side markings without any connecting pattern between them.

YOU'LL NEED A WAY BIGGER TANK WHEN THE AIMARA GROWS UP.

Great looking Aimara!

Part of the reason is that VZ aimara is consider the common one...
Unlike those from Brazil....as they are control item
the value of the fish from Brazil also very different from river
VZ aimara have quite alot of spot on it face...when aggressive...
