I picked up a used 200 (96"l x 24"w x 20"h) so that I will have something bigger to hold my RTC til he gets about 18".

What would you all recommend for filtration?

And what else should I put in there? My wife wants some more catfish (tigrinus, tsn, etc) and a clown knife. I want a royal clown knife, an arrowana, a marble cat, and some dats and peacocks. Any other ideas?

i recommend you use 2 filstar xp3s. they are good for up to 175 gal each.

nice pick up
looks good for being used!

WHAT? :screwy:

You'd need 4-5 XP3's to filter what you want to keep. A wet/dry is the way to go. Get yourself a 55g tank, split it down the middle, fill half with bioballs, add a bump, and viola! Nice tank btw.

Thanks guys. For $300 I can not complain about the tank. As far as filtration goes, I was thinking two XP3s and a wet dry. I'm just debating if I want to build a wet dry or just buy one. Any good diy wet dries out there?

Sweet pickup and congrats!

Deffinatley add some datnoids!

Wet/dry....

I would get a tignirinus, and a couple 7"+ datnoids for the tank... maybe a couple arows... then thats a tank setup IMO...

BTW- that fkin ta
