Hey fellow tank busters, i havent been on for a while trying to put together my new 8x3x3 monster. Finally i can share with you how it is shaping up (please let me know what you think!). I'm running two eheim pro3's with two eheim 5000ltr power heads. The substrate is black granite and the plants are anubias grown on driftwood. The large wood piece in the background is mangrove from Malaysia. If you want to know where are the fish.....? I havent made up my mind as to what to keep yet. I am in Australia so do have some limitations ( suggestions are most welcome ). Any way hope you enjoy and keep up the good work.

Awesome tank! No suggestions as I'm not sure whats available in Australia but I'm sure they will love their new home when you do decide.
 
the size is in feet ?? damn its really big.
suggestion for your planted, some nice discus and other tropical fishes. But, if they are too difficult to find in australia, i'd put a nice arowana jardini and some bottom fishes, some cats maybe.
At least, room to grow up they will have. And what a nice room to grow, very nice tank

That is one sweet tank how did you get a 36" tank through your door frame? or did you build it in the room it wa going to stay in?

either way it is great. As for stocking you could do just about anything you wanted b/c if the size.


I think a MASSIVE community would be cool. everything from a common pleco to neon tetra. but that's just me lol
