So after a few months of planning and acquiring all the necessary components my 220g is finally ready to go. It's my biggest tank to date. I'm too excited lol.

72x24x29
200lbs pool filter sand
2 ehiem 2217's w/surface skimmer
1fluval fx5
2 300watt fluval edge heaters.
1 marineland 300 watt stealth heater
1 beamswork 6ft single bright led light.

It's in cycling phase right now but I plan on attempting to house both my 7" red texas and 6" green terror in there long term. I'm open to suggestions as to what other fish I might be able to add. Maybe a few dithers as well?

Your tank looks great, looking forward to seeing some pics once you get the fish in it.

Or filament barbs if you can find them.they max out smaller than tinfoils-those things get huge.saw one recently at LFS had to be pound in weight with 6 inch height, 12 inches long

remove that blue light and add everything in there. Everything you like

Lol whats wrong with the blue light? I like watching my tank when its dark with only the blue light on in the house. Its relaxing
